Psychotherapy Associates of Boone, LLC, is a group of helping professionals — psychologists and social workers — dedicated to serving Boone, Watauga and surrounding counties since 1996, with the most compassionate, competent, and experienced staff available.
We provide assessment, diagnosis, counseling, psychotherapy, consultation, and referrals for adults, couples, families, teens, and children who are having difficulty solving a problem in their personal or work life and are looking for additional options and resources.

Our office is in Oak Summit Office Park. Drive in the driveway at 895 State Farm Road. We are in the first building on the left, Building 100, on the second floor, Suite 104.

Confidentiality: Our services are confidential with exceptions mandated by law and explained by each associate.

Insurance: See individual Associate pages to learn which Associate accepts your insurance, Medicaid, Medicare or sliding scale.
Scheduling: To schedule, call 828-265-0190. See individual Associate web pages for available times and individual scheduling preferences. Rescheduling: If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we kindly request you give us 24 hours notice if at all possible.
EMERGENCIES
Concerned about yourself? Call 911 for medical emergencies. For psychological emergencies, call the community response line at Daymark Recovery Services at 828-264-8759 (during business hours) or 828-264-4357 (nights and weekends). Each Associate will develop a personal plan for emergencies with her/his client.
Concerned about a relative, friend, or colleague? Have that person call as shown above or come with that person or come alone to consult about that person.
If danger appears imminent, call 911. Do not promise to keep threats to self or others secret.
