Tamar June, LCSW, MPH

Tamar June is a licensed clinical social worker and public health practitioner. She sees adults experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, pain and chronic illness, substance use disorders, and relationship distress. Tamar works from a model of gender-affirming care and offers therapy for transgender, non-binary and gender-diverse adults to support healthy relationships, expression and self-love.

She uses different modalities including integrative psychotherapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, emotion focused therapy and internal family systems.

To set up an appointment with Tamar, please call 410-948-6323 or email tamarjunepsychotherapy@gmail.com. Tamar will respond back, usually within 24 hours. 

To cancel an appointment, please call or text 410-948-6323.  If at all possible, please give at least 24 hours notice of a cancellation.

Insurance and Payment 

Tamar accepts Aetna, UHC, Oscar and Cigna and can submit claims electronically for services rendered.  You are responsible for the deductible, co-payments, and any portion of your fee not covered by your insurance. If you have any other insurance company and are intending to use out-of-network benefits, payment is expected at the time of each office visit and Tamar will provide you monthly statements for you to file your own claim. In these circumstances, please check with your insurance company to determine if your insurance will cover Tamar as a provider and/or to determine if any pre-authorization for services is required.
